New Balance's marathon racer. Infinion foam sits at 40/32mm over an Energy Arc carbon plate, which is cut away underneath so the midsole compresses into the gap and springs back. The platform is narrower than the v5 but built to stay stable deep into a race. 190g, 8mm drop.

ContestedReviewers disagree on Infinion's base polymer. Road Trail Run calls it A-TPU, Doctors of Running calls it supercritical TPEE, Canadian Running describes a PEBA-Infinion blend. All agree it replaces the v5's 100 percent PEBA FuelCell and is lighter.
