Bouncy daily trainer
Asics Novablast 6
The trampoline shoe grew up. Megablast foam in the forefoot gives the Novablast the pop it always promised, without losing the soft heel.

The shoe
Asics splits the midsole in two. FF Blast Max sits under the heel for soft landings, and FF Turbo Squared, the springier ATPU foam borrowed from the pricier Megablast, fills the forefoot. That gives 41.5/33.5mm of stack at 249g, with an 8mm drop and AsicsGrip rubber under the forefoot for wet pavement.

We only give a shoe a verdict once we have run in it ourselves. The numbers above are the facts. The opinion lands when the miles are done.
