Max cushion easy day
Nike Vomero Plus
A full slab of ZoomX under an easy-day trainer. Softer and bouncier than most max-cushion shoes, and heavy enough that you will not want to race in it.

The shoe
A full-length ZoomX midsole with no plate, 45/35mm tall with a 10mm drop that is steeper than most max-cushion shoes. The foam is the TPE version rather than the PEBA Nike races in, so it is softer and lasts longer but gives back less. Full rubber coverage takes it to 285g.
What the foam actually is
One foam, all the way through
Primary foam
ZoomX
TPE, thermoplastic elastomer
A better grade of ZoomX than Nike's daily trainers usually get, tuned close to the Alphafly 3 formulation. Excellent cold resistance, only 6 percent firmer after 20 minutes in a freezer.

We only give a shoe a verdict once we have run in it ourselves. The numbers above are the facts. The opinion lands when the miles are done.
